KTM

The 50cc racing involvement of the Austrian KTM factory was rather shortlived. The new FIM formula for 69, made KTM see a possibility of promoting their productline of 50cc mopeds. Meeting the stiff competition made KTM think twice, and they returned to focusing on motocross racers. Only points were achieved in the 69 GP of Spain where driver Jacob Unterladstatter drove the piston- ported Sachs- powered KTM to an amazing 6th place, scoring 5 points.
